Foodbank resources are diminishing as families are struggling to manage the COVID-related economic downturn. Help boost food supplies by donating to the "Buy One, Bring One" (BOBO) Fridays food drive that occurs on the third Friday of every month.
Drop off cans of food in the BOBO Fridays blue bins that are located in the vestibule at the Somerset County Administration Building on 20 Grove Street, Somerville, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., or at the following locations:
- Bedminster Municipal Bldg., 908-212-7000
One Miller Lane, Bedminster, NJ 07921
- Bound Brook Municipal Bldg., 732-356-0833
230 Hamilton St., Bound Brook, NJ 08805
- Franklin Municipal Bldg., 732-873-2500
475 DeMott Lane, Somerset, NJ 08873

111 Greenbrook Road, Green Brook, NJ 08812
- Lord Stirling Stable, 908-766-5955
256 S. Maple Ave., Basking Ridge, NJ 07920
- Somerset County Park Commission Headquarters, 908-722-1200

If you are not able to bring your food to the Somerset County Administration Building or the other locations, you can also donate non-perishable food by placing items in a bag and marking it FOOD. Leave the bag of donations with your curbside recyclables, and the items will be collected with your regularly scheduled recycling pickups. The Somerset County Recycling Division will deliver donations to the Food Bank Network of Somerset County.
Beginning in 2010, BOBO Fridays food drive has collected 42 tons of canned goods. Donations are delivered to the Food Bank Network of Somerset County and distributed to county families who are in need. For information about the Food Bank Network of Somerset County, visit somersetfoodbank.org.
