• The responsibilities of the Finance  Division include payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget, grants, and the ledger.
• Prepares the county budget annually for submission to the Commissioners and is responsible for the sale of bonds and notes of the county.
• Responsible for all financial affairs of the county.
• Safeguards all county funds: provides for short- and long-term cash flow needs; provides payroll services to municipalities and non-direct county agencies; and provides technical assistance to all grant programs on financial and accounting issues.
