The Somerset County Board of County Commissioners appoints members on advisory boards and committees which serve to advise the county on human services issues and needs.  The department maintains councils and advisory bodies in accordance with by-laws and county priorities to increase public awareness and promote and support public information and activities dealing with substance use disorders, mental health, youth services, and other related issues.

All meetings shown are open to the public, and when held in-person, it is in Conference Room 3 at the Somerset County Human Services Building, located at 27 Warren Street, Somerville. At this time, all meetings are being held virtually on Zoom. For more information, call 908-704-6300.

The PAC (Professional Advisory Committee) / PACADA (Professional Advisory Committee) meet the first Monday of each given month.

The LACADA (Local Advisory Council on Alcohol and Drug Use) and CASS (County Alliance Steering Subcommittee) meets at 9:30 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each given month.

The HSAC (Human Services Advisory Council) meets at 1:30 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each given month, except December and August.
