Richard Hall Community Health and Wellness Center 

Candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish)

Position Summary:
Provides individual, family, and group psychotherapy, and strength-based case management to support individuals’ recovery goals. Services provided must be culturally competent and provided through a trauma informed lens. Documents clinical activity per agency policy in an electronic health record system. Contributes to agency performance improvement efforts to assure ethical and effective treatment in accordance with state regulations and accrediting body standards. Supervises student interns. Evening hours required.

Essential Functions:
• Provides individual, group, family therapy and strength-based case management as needed. 
• Service at satellite locations depending on agency needs.
• Meets 66% face to face contact with clients
• Perform and complete biopsychosocial intake evaluations, attend and present at disposition meetings. 
• Document all clinical/case management activity in accordance with agency policy, state regulation and JC standards. 
• Participates in clinical and group supervision and collaborate with other providers to assure coordination of care. 
• Engage in continuing education to maintain and develop clinical skills, meet agency competency standards, and satisfy requirements for ongoing licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCADC). 
• Participates in department and agency wide meetings as assigned. 
• Supervise student interns and clinical staff working toward licensure
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:
• Bi-Lingual Spanish/English
• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy or equivalent from an accredited graduate program. 
• Be at or near possession of NJ – Clinical License (LCSW, LPC, LMFT). 
• 2 years of postgraduate experience. 
• Relevant clinical experience with population served by the OP (child/family & adults) with significant mental health concerns, which may include mood, anxiety, and thought disorders stemming from a range of bio-psycho-social circumstances. 
• Knowledge of key principles of trauma informed, wellness and recovery, person-centered care, growth and development of the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the individual and be able to interpret the  appropriate information needed to identify and support each individual’s strengths relative to his/her goals in accordance with the Center's policies and procedures.
• Skill in the operation of office equipment, including but not limited to computers, printers, copiers, calculators, and other job specific equipment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with colleagues, coworkers, vendors, contractors, and the public.
• Ability to accurately prepare and maintain files, records, reports, and logs.
• Skill in using computer applications including electronic health record, spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.
• Ability to identify and maintain confidential information.
• Ability to comprehend, express and exchange information in English over the phone, in person, in writing or through other communication or electronic devices.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Lived experience in mental health and/or substance use disorders and in recovery 5 years. 
• Experience working in specialized areas such as sexual abuse, domestic abuse, substance use, trauma, or gerontology
