Richard Hall Community Health and Wellness Center

29 hour per week

Candidate must be available to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm

The Assisted Outpatient Treatment Services facilitates the Involuntary Outpatient Commitment Law in Somerset County. 

The Case Manager provides community-based support to people who are struggling to engage in treatment.  Limited on-call required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor of Arts in Psychiatric Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from an accredited college. Minimum of three years of experience in working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness in an acute care setting, such as Partial Hospitalization, Acute Care Hospital Unit, Screening Center. Computer Literate. NJ driver license in good standing, if applicable. 

**Candidates with lived experience in mental health and/or substance use disorders and in recovery are encouraged to apply.

PREFERRED:

Familiarity with symptoms and evidence-based treatments of major psychiatric diagnosis. Familiarity with the psychiatric medication prescribed to the program’s target population. Knowledge of community resources and services and the ability to collaborate with other professionals. Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) and experience/sensitivity in working with culturally diverse populations.
