Deciding what to do after a crime
If you are a victim of crime, you may have to cope with challenges you never expected to face. You may be overwhelmed by fear or anger. And you may not know what to do next or where to turn for help. Victim advocates can help you figure out what steps to take and what choices you may need to make. Advocates can offer advice and give you information concerning the criminal justice process, your rights and on victim services in your community.
