In 2019, the Somerset County Clerk held his first mobile office event so residents could access services closer to home at more convenient hours.

Here's what you can do at some of our mobile office events:

Apply for a passport 

Get your passport photo taken for $10

Get a County Resident ID Card for $10

Register to vote

Apply to Vote By Mail

File military discharge papers

Get a military ID, veterans peddler’s license or Gold Star Family ID

Record land record documents

Register a trade name for a business

Get sworn in as a notary public (must already have a NJ Notary Commission Certificate)

Before you go:

No appointments are necessary for mobile offices.   

 Some services may not be offered at every event.

Fees payable to U.S. Department of State must be paid by check or money order.

Fees payable to Somerset County Clerk can be paid by cash, check, money order or credit/debit card.
