The organization, planning, and monitoring of substance use education, prevention, early intervention, treatment and recovery support services, to include:

Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (I.D.R.C.)

A 12-hour detainment education and screening program for persons convicted of operating motor vehicles or vessels under the influence of alcohol or other drugs per court ordered penalties specified in Title 39:4-50 et seq. of the New Jersey Statutes annotated and accompanying Regulations of Chapter 162(10:162-1.1 to 162-11.3.

Resource Guide for Persons Affected by Substance Use

Local Advisory Council on Alcoholism and Drug Use (L.A.C.A.D.A.)

A group of citizens and professionals who advise Somerset County about policy, program needs, and priorities for comprehensive substance use disorder treatment, education, and increased public awareness. 

County Alliance Steering Subcommittee(C.A.S.S.)

An advisory arm of the Local Advisory Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, CASS coordinates efforts to combat substance use disorders through prevention, intervention, and education.

Municipal Alliances

Community-based prevention organizations, comprised of volunteers, that are located in all counties in New Jersey. Alliances plan, coordinate, and conduct alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use prevention activities.
