In response to feedback received from many schools about last year's Teen Arts deadlines being placed too early in the school year, we have adjusted the due dates for 2025 to assist teachers. |

Please review this calendar of important dates and deadlines thoroughly. We highly recommend adding these dates to your personal and professional calendars.
2025 School Participation Form (Fillable PDF)
Please indicate, to your best estimate, which creative disciplines your school intends to participate in. Schools are encouraged to participate in any/all disciplines. This form does not lock in your answers. However, please let us know if your plans change.

HOW TO COMPLETE SUBMISSION FORMS
All submission forms are digital, fillable PDFs.
PLEASE TYPE ALL ANSWERS.
- Complete ONE (1) multi-page form for EACH CATEGORY in which your students are participating. For example, if your students are participating in Visual Arts and Dance, you would ONLY fill out the Visual Arts and Dance forms.
- Detailed guidelines and instructions are included with each form. Guidelines and instructions are specific to each category. Please read these thoroughly.
- Email completed forms to CulturalHeritage@co.somerset.nj.us on or before April 1, 2025.
- We cannot accept forms directly from students. Forms MUST be sent by teachers or school coordinators.
- Students participating independently (even if over the age of 18) must have a parent, guardian or teacher contact Cultural & Heritage Staff at CulturalHeritage@co.somerset.nj.us or (908) 231-7022 prior to completing submission forms.

2025 Creative Writing Anthology Cover Art Contest Entry Form
Attention visual art students! Do your students want the chance to have their original artwork featured as the cover of the Teen Arts Creative Writing Anthology? Complete this submission form!
2025 Creative Writing Guidelines / Submission Form
All Creative Writing students must also submit a Student Release Form.

Because student creative writing, visual art and film will be publicly accessible, an individual release form for EACH participating student is required. Note: if a film features a group of students, ALL group members MUST submit a separate, completed release in order to be showcased.
